1. If you do the examinations properly you will feel a hard lump that won’t move. If you haven’t been shown how to do it you cannot properly give yourself an exam.
2. This is normal. Your skin sheds often and since your nipples have many creases in them and the hole you will notice your skin pealing more. Just clean it off regularly. And the redness is probably from your nipples being erected either from being aroused or being cold. Its normal.
